In order of when I'm likely to buy them... YAY - wireless trigger set (the  $25 kind, but I was still excited) YAY - a donation! 50mm f/1.8 lens, 75-200mm f/3.8 telephoto, and flash unit.  "Series E"--a generation old, no electronics--but I was still excited. ~$1000 upgrade camera to one that supports bracketing, high speed synch, and better lenses.  (My Nikon D60 is constrained to DX-series lenses, which aren't usable on any better camera body.)  D300 would be my choice from the Nikon line. $50-100 boom light stand, umbrella, and umbrella swivel

I don't have many objects.  I've been a shiftless gypsy for half my life, buying what I had to have at garage sales and thrift stores, and doing without the rest.  Valuing possessions binds the soul, said I. Yet there are a very few objects I feel a kinship toward.  The wind.  Carved stone.  Works of inspired craftsmanship.  Wooden staves.
